Terms of Service

By installing or using QuackDeck (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

QuackDeck is a spaced-repetition flashcard app provided by Fun Stuff Studio. It is offered “as is” with both a free tier and an optional paid “Pro” tier. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

You may use QuackDeck without an account. To enable cloud sync and Pro features you sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to comply with all applicable laws.

You retain ownership of the decks, cards, and media you create (“Your Content”). By using the Service you grant Fun Stuff Studio a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (e.g., syncing across your devices, generating thumbnails, restoring from backup).

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload material that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware. You represent that you have the right to upload everything you upload.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measure.
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unauthorised advertising.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to it.

Pro upgrades are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your platform account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your platform settings (App Store → Subscriptions on iOS; Play Store → Subscriptions on Android). Cancelling stops auto-renewal but does not refund the current period.

Refunds are governed by the platform you purchased on (Apple/Google). Fun Stuff Studio cannot issue refunds directly for App Store or Play Store transactions.

The free tier includes banner ads above a usage threshold. Ad serving is provided by Google AdMob. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.

You can stop using the Service at any time, sign out, or delete your account in Settings or via quackdeck.funstuff.studio/delete-account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will not occur. We recommend exporting your decks regularly (Settings → Export).

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUN STUFF STUDIO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD 50.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Fun Stuff Studio's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws grant you rights to bring a claim locally.
