Privacy Policy

QuackDeck is a flashcard app made by Fun Stuff Studio. It works without an account, and your decks and cards stay on your device unless you use Cloud sync, which comes with Pro and can be turned off in Settings. We collect only what we need to run the app, and we never sell your data.

• Your account. Your name and email address from Apple or Google sign-in, and your Google profile picture.
• Your study activity. When you are signed in, your study history is saved for Study Groups. With Pro, Cloud sync also saves your decks, cards (including their photos, audio, video and attachments) and settings.
• Study Groups. Members of your groups see your name, picture and study stats, which you can hide.
• AI features.When you use one, the notes or topic you give it and the text of your cards are sent to Google Gemini. We use Gemini’s paid service, so Google does not use this text to improve its products.
• Feedback. Your message and any screenshots you attach.
• Usage and diagnostics. Certain app events, errors and crashes, with basic device information and your IP address (which shows your rough location). When you are signed in, this is linked to your account.
• Purchases. What you bought and whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment details.
• Android only. Google Analytics for Firebase records certain app events to measure our ads, and the free version may show ads from Google AdMob. Neither runs on iPhone.

• Supabase stores accounts and synced data.
• Apple and Google handle sign-in and store purchases.
• Google Gemini powers the AI features.
• Sentry receives crash and error reports.
• Google Analytics for Firebase and Google AdMob run on Android only.
• PostHog counts visits to this website only.

Each provider gets only what it needs for its job and is bound to protect it at least as well as this policy does.

Data on your device stays there until you delete it or remove the app. Data on our servers is kept while you have an account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, at quackdeck.funstuff.studio/delete-account, or by emailing us. Everything is permanently deleted within 90 days. To remove Google Analytics data from Android as well, email us.

• Get a copy of your cards: Settings → Import / export.
• Correct your name in Settings, and your cards in the app.
• Delete your data, as described above.
• On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
• Complain to your local data-protection authority.

QuackDeck is for people aged 13 and over. If a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

This website uses PostHog, on servers in the United States, to count visits, with one cookie that holds a random ID.

• No session recordings.
• No heatmaps and no blanket click capture.
• No profile and no account linkage.
• No invite codes in what we record.

Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and we record nothing at all.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and we will tell you in the app about important changes.
